Want a simple way to connect your PC/Mac to your M802 Radio? ย The M802’s headphone jack on the control head can be used to process free WeatherFax images.
This kit connects to the M802’s headset port and includes a USB Audio adapter compatible with Windows and MacOS. ย A USB-A to USB-C adapter is also included to ensure compatibility with almost any computer. ย You can continue to use the handmic as normal while the adapter is installed. ย No need to run a long audio cable from the M802’s main transceiver unit to get a seperate audio out.
The kit includes a USB audio device with USB-A connector, plus a USB-C to USB-A adapter, and a 6ft mono audio cable to connect your PC or Mac to the radio for weatherfax, navtex, or other digital audio decoding. ย Works great with Multimode on MacOS, WeatherFax2000 for Windows, and other apps that decode HF/SSB digital broadcasts.
