Icom America is pleased to introduce the new M85UL Marine VHF handheld. The M85UL is the perfect radio to replace the M88. Smaller and lighter weight, the M85UL comes with more programmable land mobile channels but also includes the popular M88 features.
The M85UL is the Intrinsically Safe version of the M85 Radio. The UL version does not have the Built-In Scrambler function that the M85 (non-UL) included.
Commercial users and yacht owners will like the M85 features:

Built to withstand the elements, the submersible M85UL intrinsically safe VHF handheld is perfect for commercial customers working in harsh environments. The M85UL plus the BP292UL, HM184UL all meet ANSI/TIA-4950-A, ANSI/UL 121201 requirements for:
- Intrinsically safe: Class I, Division 1, Groups C, D;
- Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, G;
- Class III. T3C.
- Non-incendive: Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D
