Sailing Monohull: Bulkhead Mount Interior Antenna, Long enough cable to mount exterior antenna at the top of the mast. Add a Shakespeare mast mount to make attaching at the top of the mast easier.
Sailing Catamaran: Ceiling Mount interior antenna in the Salon to cover the most area of the boat. Long enough cable to mount exterior antenna at the top of the mast. Add a Shakespeare mast mount to make attaching at the top of the mast easier.
Power Catamaran: Ceiling Mount interior antenna in the Salon to cover the most area of the interior. Long enough cable to mount exterior antenna on the flybridge roof or radar mast. Standard Pipe mount is probably the most common here.
Power Yacht: Bulkhead Mount interior antenna in the Salon area to cover the Salon. Covering the rest of a small yacht may be possible with a ceiing mount.
